Founded in Kenya’s Nandi Hills region
Established in Canada by a Kenyan-Canadian, Amani Tea has its roots in Kenya’s Nandi Hills region, a tea-growing community, where our founder was born and raised.
As a family-owned and operated business with over 40 years of heritage experience in the industry, we are delighted to bring you this high-quality loose-leaf tea experience.
With firsthand knowledge and experience, we have cultivated, harvested, and processed tea here for a long time. We live, breathe, and dream tea!
In Swahili, Amani means “tranquil,” perfect words to describe the soothing, distinct, and medium-bodied tea that we have enjoyed over the years with family, friends, and the local tea community.
Known for its lush green tea farms and riverine rainforests, it is also a high-altitude region that produces world-famous marathoners.
